The Ethical Fashion Show Berlin is based on a visionary concept tailored to innovative street fashion and casual wear brands, for which ecology and ethics are a matter of course, and which are positioned in the heart of the fashion market.

During the Berlin Fashion Week , the Ethical Fashion Show Berlin will provide a professional trade fair and a permanent home for all sustainable fashion labels.

The show will be held from 20 to 22 January 2015 at Postbahnhof. Over 160 international labels are participating in the show. Participants include People Tree,Lanius,Alma & Lovis,Globe Hope and Frajorden among others. Here’s a brief on the participants :

People Tree: It is recognized by customers and the fashion industry as a pioneer in Fair Trade and environmentally sustainable fashion. For over twenty years, People Tree has partnered with Fair Trade artisans and farmers in the developing world to produce a collection of ethical and eco fashion. Fair Trade is about creating a new way of doing business, creating access to markets and opportunities for people who live in the developing world.

Lanius : As early as 1999 Claudia Lanius had to bring the vision, ecological raw materials with feminine fabrics and silhouettes in line. In her studio in Cologne she develops twice per year the ideas and concepts, which are then realized by her assistants in loving detail.

Alma & Lovis : It is a beautiful casual wear and fashionable business attire. Fair trade and organic materials are as important as up-to-the-minute style to them.

Globe Hope : It is an innovative Finnish company that designs and manufactures ecological clothes and bags from recycled and discarded materials.

Frajorden : Fresh Fashion, distinctively Scandinavian. Responsible Fashion made with Love And Organic Cotton to make you look and feel good.

The show is a significant platform for information and networking for the subject of sustainability in the textile industry with a comprehensive programme of events.

Frajorden is participating for second time at the fair. “We had good conversations with visitors last time and we hope to deepen relationships this January ” said Pranav Khanna, Frajorden.
